Last month we attended the Business Champion Awards at the East Wintergarden, Canary Wharf, London. We were ecstatic to have been chosen as a finalist for the ‘Start-Up Giants’ New Business of the Year award amongst a whole host of innovative and inspirational new companies across all industries, from all over the UK.

We are incredibly proud of all of our achievements so far, and were honoured to have been picked as one of the finalists. The silver award was presented to fellow Bristolians, Loki Poke, home of ‘honest, healthy fast food.’ An award-winning business serving fresh, good, food from a shipping container in Bristol’s Wapping Wharf. Loki Poke is described as ‘a satisfying and instagrammable lunch’ and is another ‘lockdown lovechild,’ much like Imagineerium. To be nominated alongside them as finalists was a privilege for us and we love hearing about Bristol-born companies that are taking their industry by storm.

When Imagineerium were named the gold winner of the award we were absolutely over the moon and gratefully accepted the award in honour of all creative businesses and entrepreneurs who are ready to take their first step on a new venture. We believe that sharing our success is the perfect motivation for new and smaller businesses in the creative sector and hope to inspire individuals to pursue their dreams and aspirations no matter what.
Having been a business for only 2 years we have grown from strength to strength, working with many fantastic companies, brands, and people, from Red Bull to Glastonbury, Wake the Tiger to VICE Media, and so many more. We estimate that our audience engagement through various projects so far has been around 1 million, while also providing work for around 40 freelance creatives and growing from a team of 2 to 6 full-time employees in just 18 months.
Community support and sustainability is very important to us and questioning the status quo within our industry is included in this pledge. As we begin our application to be a B-corp certified business, we also aim to highlight that a creative career path is viable for everyone, emphasising that a role within the sector can provide a bright future.
As bold designers, we are proud to say that we are ‘multi-award-winning’ and know that this recognition of our hard work and achievements will set us apart from other agencies…
